Terms of Service — Looksmaxxing

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Looksmaxxing mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Important: Looksmaxxing is for education and self-improvement only. It does not provide medical, dermatological, psychological or cosmetic advice, and its AI scores and estimates are approximations — not professional assessments.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use the App. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are able to form a binding contract.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the App or its content.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos and information you provide ("Your Content"). You grant us and our AI service providers a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate the features you request — for example, to generate your analysis, plan and coach responses. You represent that you have the right to submit Your Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right. Do not upload photos of anyone who has not consented.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, harassing or abusive purpose;
Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that depicts a minor;
Attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the App or its services;
Use the App to make decisions about other people, or in any discriminatory manner;
Misrepresent the App's outputs as professional medical or cosmetic advice.

5. Nature of the analysis — no professional advice

The App uses AI to generate attractiveness scores, feature breakdowns, perceived-age estimates and improvement suggestions. These outputs are subjective estimates for entertainment and self-improvement, can be inaccurate, and will vary with lighting, angle and image quality. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor, dermatologist, dentist, mental-health professional or other expert. Always seek professional guidance before beginning any health, skincare, dietary, exercise or cosmetic regimen. You use the App and act on its suggestions at your own risk.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

The App may offer optional subscriptions and in-app purchases:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase;
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period;
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period;
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings after purchase;
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, branding, text, graphics and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license granted above, no rights are transferred to you.

8. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services (including Google's Firebase AI / Vertex AI, RevenueCat and Apple). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result or estimate is accurate or reliable.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages or expenses arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers and limitations of liability) will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer-protection rights you may have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
